Scope of Services

FortiLane provides logistics security services including but not limited to: smart-lock installation, GPS monitoring, secure parking coordination, and reporting. Unless explicitly agreed in writing, FortiLane does not act as a carrier, freight forwarder, or insurer.

Liability

• FortiLane is not liable for theft, loss, or damage of cargo.
• Responsibility for cargo remains with the shipper, carrier, or their insurer.
• FortiLane’s role is limited to monitoring, reporting, and coordination.
• Any liability of FortiLane is capped at the invoice value of the specific service rendered, unless otherwise required by Dutch law.

Insurance

• Cargo insurance remains the sole responsibility of the shipper or carrier.
• FortiLane maintains professional liability insurance for its advisory and monitoring services; this does not replace cargo insurance.

Payment Terms

Invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Governing Law

Agreements are subject to Dutch law. Disputes will be handled by the competent court in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
